Today I have a very exciting and spoiler free (as always) review! I will be reviewing "Avengers: Infinity War." Before I get started, I'd like to give a shoutout to the Free Gamer's Alliance YouTube channel. Their videos cover everything from walkthroughs, glitches, easter eggs, and various amusing video game related content, all of which is delivered with some colorful commentary while they have buckets of fun doing it. Lets get right into this. Here is the trailer:
- From a visual standpoint, this movie is really fantastic. It is worth seeing on the biggest screen possible for that reason alone.
- The cast is all on the top of their game. This is especially the case for Chris Evans/Scarlett Johansson/Tom Holland/Danai Gurira/Josh Brolin. There is a lot of chemistry between the cast and the people who share screen time make a lot of sense.
- Speaking of Josh Brolin, he plays the villain who is easily the best Marvel villain to date. Unlike some others he comes off as menacing and his character is developed surprisingly well.
- The action sequences are absolutely insane. They will have you on the edge of your seat the whole time and are generally thrilling to watch.
- The pacing is some of the most excellent I have seen. This is a long movie but it never feels like it. It hits the ground running from the very beginning and doesn't let up for a second.
- As usual, there is some great comedic relief. This is especially welcome in this movie as it is consistently quite dark at times and it is really needed.
- I have to give a lot of credit to the writers as they manage to balance so many characters really well. Also the perspective that this movie is told from is quite unique and refreshing (unfortunately, I can't elaborate on that without spoilers so I won't).
- Finally, the ending of this movie is one of the craziest endings I have ever seen in a superhero movie. My jaw dropped hard.
- There are some sub villains in this movie that would best be described as wasted potential. It isn't a huge deal but their presence did feel like a bit of filler.
"Avengers: Infinity War" is a blockbuster in the truest sense of the word. This is an experience that absolutely needs to be seen on the big screen. It is fun, intense, ballsy, and overall a great movie going experience. I absolutely recommend diving head first into this cinematic treat.
Thanks for reading everyone! As usual, feel free to leave a comment but please be advised that if you are going to read any potential comments that spoilers may be present.
